Windows XP Support >> uninstall..please help!! Here is one article to review.
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=888023

boot up using XP, then identify current "windir".
delete win 2k directory. delete win 2k entry in boot.ini file.

Any program or application that you want to use has to be installed when
running Win XP. All personal files will still exist. You just have to restore
program links within Win XP.

You really need to watch the advice you shell out, Logan. The situation
described is not at all unusual, does not represent a problem, and is
trivial to "remedy".
