XP Pro

Windows XP >> XP Pro I'm using XP Pro, I changed my security rights on the C
drive to give someone else access and now seem to have
lost ALL permissions on the primary drive (the only
drive). When I boot I get the background wallpaper and
the mouse pointer but that's it. Safe mode does the same
thing with an all black screen. It acts as though nothing
has permission to access the c drive and therefore
won't boot at all. Any ideas on how to solve this
problem? How can I regain access to the c drive?? Thanks
for any help you can give me.

Windows XP >> XP Pro Hi,

You could reinstall XP over the top of your original
installation. This will be treated as an upgrade and you
should keep all of your settings.
