Windows XP Network >> WinXP with Windows 2000 Server Hangs I have just migrated from a Server 4.0 platform to Server
2000 platform. All my machines that run 98 and 2000
workstation work with no problems. However all my XPpro
machines will not work. If I was to unplug the network
cable, log in, let everything load and then plug the
network cable back in, the computer runs fine. But if do
the same thing with the network cable plugged in before I
log in, the machine locks up as soon as I try to load a
program.

Has anybody had this problem before and know what the fix
is?

Thank You.

Windows XP Network >> WinXP with Windows 2000 Server Hangs Would probably have to do with your SID's. Did you use
the migration tool from MS with the checks in the right
place? If I remember, there are two places in the tool
that need to be checked but aren't by default.
