Windows XP Perform Maintain >> Formatting/Partitioning Hi group,

I've been having problems with worms lately and they have really messed up my harddrive. I wish to format the drive (I only have the one) and then partition it. One partition for XP Pro and the other for my Data.
First question: How do I format the harddrive? I went into MS-Dos command through Explorer but it won't let me do it.
Second question: I also have access to a partitioning software. Is it of any use for me at this time?
Third question: If the partitioining software is not necessary, how do I partition my harddrive after I have formatted it?

I would appreciate any help that I could get.

Earl

Windows XP Perform Maintain >> Formatting/Partitioning Earl;
You do not need any partitioning software as Windows XP will do it
all:

Step six on the link gives partitioning options.
