Windows XP Perform Maintain >> Windows repeatedly losing system config File Hiya,

For some reason xp is repeatedly losing the system config
file. Ever since I upgraded from 98 when XP, windows
will randomly lose or corrup one of the boot files and I
get the following error:

"Windows could not start because the following file is
missing or corrupt:

\windows\system32\config\system"

and then it prompts me to use the repair utility in
Windows. The only way I was able to fix it was through
reformatting. After I reformatted and reloaded it worked
great.. for about a year. It has now crashed on me
again. Any Ideas on how to fix, or what is causing this?

Windows XP Perform Maintain >> Windows repeatedly losing system config File I am having a simalure issue with windows\system32
\l_intl.nls and recover will not work, if you find a
solution a heads up would be apreciated.
