Windows XP >> New Hard Drive I just installed a new 200GB IDE drive as a slave unit,
running XP Pro. In Disk Management, XP only recognizes
131GB. Where is the rest of my drive space???

To use beyond 128GB (in Binary basis - 137 billion decimal), you need to
be using '48 bit LBA' so as to be able to address the sectors beyond
that point, where the capacity of the earlier 28 bit version runs out.
This needs not just a drive and Windows XP SP1, but also a controller on
the motherboard or plugin card that handles the 48 bit version. A BIOS
upgrade *might* enable it, but you may need a plugin controller card
