Windows XP Support >> No sound Desperately need help. I cannot get sound from my pc. At fiirst this only
happenned with the other user on my pc but now it is happening to the both of
us. I tried troubleshooting the device but it says that the device is working
properly. In the sound setting it says that the pc has no sound device. I
have tried contacting the manufacturer but have had no responce please
HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Windows XP Support >> No sound It's because the first user changed some settings or deleted some files he
wasn't supposed to ... (Only kidding!)

I'm asuming:
1) You checked that the sound card is properly seated in it's slot.
2) You checked that all the plugs are snugly inserted and in the proper
connections.
3) You checked that the power to your sound system is turned on.
4) You checked "Device Manager" for any problems or conflicts.
5) You checked, and ALL sound is gone ... CD's, streaming stuff, and all
sound files (MP3's, etc.)

That being the case, I would un-install you audio software, reboot, then
re-install it using the directions supplied by your computer's manufacturer,

same problem, would be very gratefull
The problem is l recently wiped out some programes and now l'm left with no
sound totally
