how to make two computers talk to each other

Windows XP Network >> how to make two computers talk to each other i have a wireless network. one of the computers which is running xp has a
wireless pci adapter on it. the other has windows 98 and is connected
directly to the wireless router. how can i get these to computers to
communicate and share files with each other.
