Windows XP Network >> Accessing pc over network is denied I have a computer running XP Pro. When I try to access
this computer from another computer on the network I get
prompted for a user name and password, I enter the user
name a password and access is denied. I have tried using
the Administrator user and password and I am still denied.
The XP pc can access shared files from other computer but
other computers can not access it. I was accessing files
from the XP pc for about 3 month and this problem just
accrued last week. I have scanned for viruses and to my
knowledge no updates or critical changes have been made to
the pc. File sharing is enabled.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Windows XP794

Windows XP Network >> Accessing pc over network is denied Just a guess:
There is an issue about sytem time having to be
synchronized within a network - at least in a domain
environment...

worth a try
