ad-aware process remains after closing
Windows XP884
Hi Im on Windows XP Home SP2. When i start up ad-aware, and close it, the adaware.exe process will remain, and max out the CPU. Has anyone else experienced this? I end up having to kill the process manually from Task manager. I also get similar problems with few other freeware apps. Thanks Kory - |

Re:ad-aware process remains after closing
Hiya
I am using the latest version of ad-aware. However, it did not matter which version i used, they all did the same thing. Soon as i closed the app... the process remains... and it just doesnt remain.. it max's out the CPU..leaving the computer running super slow. So i end up killing the process from task manager. This also happens with Virtualdub. However, this seems to be happening to me only... everyone i have asked seems to be ok. Im lost as to why this is happening. Thanks Kory "kersob" wrote: Quote
