Connecting two wireless networks?

Windows XP Network >> Connecting two wireless networks? I'm pretty new to networking, and want to keep my question
simple. I have Verizon wireless, with XP-home computer and
Router upstairs, and XP-home computer and laser printer
downstairs. Wireless internet connections work fine.
Trying to connect printer to downstairs computer wirelessly.
Have connected printer and downstairs computer using Netgear
WGE111 Wireless Game Adapter ($29.99 at Frys), and printer
works fine. Now, the question. Is there any way to have
both my Verizon wireless network and the Netgear wireless
network (computer to printer only) to work together (e.g.,
connect one to the other)?

Thanks,
Clayton in Texas

Windows XP Network >> Connecting two wireless networks? One additional bit of info. The Game Adapter has an Adhoc
and an Internet setting (via switch) and I'm using the Adhoc
(for computer-to-printer only).

Does the printer have an Ethernet connection that you're using with
the Game Adapter? If so, I'd switch the Game Adapter to Internet mode
and connect it to the same wireless router that the computers already
connect to. Then, both computers will be able to use the printer.

Windows XP Network >> Connecting two wireless networks? Thanks for the feedback. I agree that would work, but the
router is upstairs, and the printer is across the house
downstairs (in wife's office). Cannot connect printer
directly to router; that's why I was trying to do it
wirelessly. Don't want to move router downstairs, because I
need the faster internet connection upstairs. Wireless
signal is weak downstairs.
