Windows XP Hardware >> Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 won't "click" reliably I have a Wireless Desktop: Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 and Wireless Comfort
Keyboard 1.0A

My problem is the mouse. When I reboot my computer, it all works great.
After a while, it doesn't "click" reliably. Everything else works! Moving
the pointer, the wheel, etc. But the left or right button may take a LOT of
clicks to actually get it to work (either single or double clicks). Or, it
may work fine.

It is on a wooden desk. no metal. The mouse is about 1.5 feet from the
transmitter.

Here is the odd thing, It appears to be a software issue. After I reboot, it
works fine! For a while.

I've replaced the batteries, no change.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bob

Did you installed the included drivers or are you using the default XP drivers?

Windows XP Hardware >> Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 won't "click" reliably I installed the software from the CD and recently went to the web site and
loaded the updated software.

Go to the Mouse control panel, Hardware tab, select the mouse from the
list and then select Properties, Advanced settings. You can make small
changes in the Sample Rate and Input Buffer Length - generally
increasing. Otherwise, check that your receiver is within 18 inches or
so of the mouse (smaller is better) and there is an unobstructed radio path.
