Windows XP >> Shift + Left Click on Mouse to select no longer working I used to be able to press the Shift key while holding down the left mouse
button to select more than one file at once. Now when I press the shift key,
it just locks my cursor. Does anyone know how to fix this? ANy help would be
greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Try another keyboard and/or scan your system for malware.

Windows XP >> Shift + Left Click on Mouse to select no longer working An addendum to Detlev's post:

1) Borrow (**don't buy!***) a keyboard from somebody (in case the problem
isn't the keyboard...)

2)Unplug the old keyboard

3)Plug in the new keyboard

4)Restart computer after you plug in the new one so Windows will recognize
ir during boot.

5)Test it out...

6)Report back here.

Good luck,
Mack
