Windows Update Loads automatically

Windows XP Update >> Windows Update Loads automatically Everytime I log onto the internet my home page goes straight to the "windows
update" page. I have checked my settings and my homepage is still set to what
it usually is.

The "Windows Update" page used to come up automatically every so often (when
I needed an update) but now it is everytime. When I follow the directions it
says I don't need any updates.

How do I stop it? Would appreciate any help.

Windows XP Update >> Windows Update Loads automatically Andrew,

Open Internet Options in the Control Panel with IE CLOSED. Under Home
page, is your selected Home page listed ? If so, click the Use Current
button, then click Apply.
Under Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete Files button and put a
check in the box next to " Delete all offline content ". Click OK.
Now click the Clear History button.
Restart the system. Did that resolve the issue ?

Windows XP Update >> Windows Update Loads automatically I would check out the link your using to launch IE.
