Windows XP MovieMaker >> Downloading movie in movie maker to DVD Movie Maker can't create a DVD. Save your movie in
MM as DV-AVI, then use your DVD Authoring software
to author & burn the DVD.

Windows XP MovieMaker >> Downloading movie in movie maker to DVD Ah, maybe this is the answer to my problem? I saved my video in MM as a movie
using the first option, save to my computer. How do I save as a file that
Nero Express will burn a DVD? It's now saved as a WMV and Nero doesn't
recognize that one.

Thanks,

Nero should accept the WMV, I've used them in Nero before, but it will
definitely accept the DV-AVI file.

You saved as an "AVI"? You have posted this to several groups,
so not necssasarily as a "DV-AVI"?
AVI comes in several flavors, did you use a compression technique
such as Dvix? If so that will explain the incompatibility issue.

Windows XP MovieMaker >> Downloading movie in movie maker to DVD Decoder,

sorry, I saved as DV-AVI file still not compatible. Saved another copy
DV-AVI using jpeg and Wav files. Still not accepted by Nero. What are the
exact steps to burn. Maybe I 'm missing something. It looks like a couple of
different menu options.

Thanks for help

In recent posts the subject of Nero as an OEM preinstalled limited
"lite" version was an issue with burning DVD video disks.
Have you ever successfully burned DVD video disks with the
version of Nero installed on your PC?
If you have the full Nero6 installed, this is the tutorial:

Windows XP MovieMaker >> Downloading movie in movie maker to DVD I am currently using Windows Movie Maker to create movies that contain both
still images and video clips. I am using Nero Express to burn the entire
movie onto a DVD but I am having a problem with the quality of the video clip
portin of the movie. I import them into WMM with fire wire and the quality
seems fina at that point but when I save the movie and use Nero to burn it,
the end result leaves the video clips blurry while the still images are
clear. There seems to be some degradation in the transfer from WMM to Nero.
Any suggestions?
