Windows XP Support >> =?Utf-8?Q?Can=E2=80=99t_I_delete_.tmp_files_to_fre?= I have a .tmp file in C:\Windows after upgrading to XP that is >250MB, it
lets me delete it to Recycle Bin without apparent problems; I should be able
to delete this from the Recycle Bin right?

I had a CHKDSK loop problem that was resolved today by using F8->Disable
Automatic Restart on System Failure & renamed a problem .sys file to .old.

I have a couple other sizeable .tmp files in the same directory that ask me
if I really want to delete them as they are read only? They cool to delete?

-> Are any .tmp files that XP allows me to delete into Recycle Bin, safe to
delete permanently from Recycle Bin/system? -Thanks

them completely is the option that windows provide. Essentially, any file
that uses the extension tmp is sacrificiable. If it were not, then it would
not have a tmp extenstion.....
