Windows Vista Keeps Offering Me the Same 27 Updates

Windows XP Update >> Windows Vista Keeps Offering Me the Same 27 Updates No matter how many times I check for updates in Windows Vista (Home Premium)
on a brand new Toshiba laptop, Vista continues to offer me th esame 27
updates available for installation. I always elect to install the updates
and I let the machine reboot like 5-6 times and wait (about an hour) for it
to finish. However, when it's done, it still offers me the same 27 pending
updates. What's going on here?

security updates. When you call, clearly state that your problem is related
to a Security Update and cite the update's KB number (e.g., KB123456).

If your problem relates to a Cumulative Security Update for IE, call the
above number and ask to be transferred to the Consumer IE7 queue (which is
47830).

to install the update(s).
