Windows XP Security >> Welcome screen help!! I did a system recovery and when I restarted it had the
classic logon promt.

It said that the computer was locked.

I tried to change it to the Welcome screen but it would
NOT change.

How do I unlock the computer and change it so it is the
Welcome Screen??

Windows XP309

Windows XP Security >> Welcome screen help!! Go to Control Panel/User Accounts and click on "Change the way users log on
or off". Check the "Use the Welcome Screen".

Hope this helps,
Eduardo

Windows XP Security >> Welcome screen help!! Oops! My problem is that mine are not checked, but the Welcome screen comes
up fine. I had to disable the Gateway desktop theme in order to make it
come up, but even when I check both boxes Windows does not keep the check
marks.

If you are not using one of the Windows standard Desktop themes, try using
one of them to see if that solves the problem.
