Windows XP Hardware >> CD Burning I have a BenQ 48x16x48 cd burner. Anytime I try to burn a
cd, the wizard either finshes and says it is complete,
but no files/directories ever show up on the cd. If I put
the cd back in the drive and go to explorer, nothing
happens and when I go to close explorer, I get the
message that the program isn't responding. Other times
when I've tried burning a cd, I get the message that says
the wizard cannot complete writing.

It has been suggested that I may need to reinstall the
OS. Has anyone else ever had a similar problem? If so,
how was it resolved? Any ideas/suggestions would be much
appreciated.

Windows XP Hardware >> CD Burning First I used easy cd creator 5 (with update). I
uninstalled this software since I was having problems and
tried the Windows XP cd burning. Still had same problems.
Called tech support of the drive, they sent me a program
to clean off incompatible drivers, which found no
incompatible drivers on the system. I then installed Nero
(which came with the drive) and still had the same
problem. I believe there mau be something in the registry
that is causing the problem, but not sure what or where
to look.
