Windows XP Support >> usb2 device not connecting at high speed Whe I connect my 250Gb external USB2 hard drive it comes up with the
following message. "This device can perform faster if connected to a
high speed usb port." All ports on PC are usb2 and I have tried all of
them. I am running XP Pro, service PAck 2. I have downloaded latest
chipset drivers for mainboard, and latest SIS usb2 drivers. THe drive
still works but is very slow.

Windows XP Support >> usb2 device not connecting at high speed Have you tried uninstalling the USB devices, reboot & let windows detect
them again. That will sometimes work.

best of luck
