Windows XP Hardware >> XP pro detects dual processors... I've just built this CPU from scratch which includes an
Intel P4 3.06Ghz CPU w/ Hyper Threading. The system runs
on an 800mhz FSB, with 1536mb of PC3200 DDR RAM. Oddly
enough, the OS and several apps show that it has 2
processors. Is there a reason for this? I'm certain it
won't affect performance, I was just wondering why it
would do that.
