Windows XP Security >> A question on whis is my firewall icon blinking. I have a very simple question, but it is not simple if you
don't know the answer. I have Norton's Personal Firewall
Protection, and I am wondering why the Firewall icon on the
taskbar at the bottom of the window is blinking.

I looked in the help section, but the answer is probably so
simple that it is not there. What does that red blinking light
on my Firewall icon mean? Thanks anyone for an answer.

Windows XP Security >> A question on whis is my firewall icon blinking. Greetings --

Do you have the firewall configured to show the Alert Tracker? If
so, it's probably telling you that it has blocked an attempted
intrusion.
