Windows XP Update >> download successful, installation hangs Hi There

I am running xp pro sp2. Various updates have downloaded but when I try to
install any of them, I get a "Initialising Updates" screen which then just
hangs.

When I try to cancel out of it, the screen updates to "Canceling Updates"
but then hangs again. The only way to get out of it is via the Windows Task
Manager.

The last entries in the windows update log read as follows:
2005-09-15 19:51:31 1152 134 AU AU received install approval from client for
1 updates

Windows XP Update >> download successful, installation hangs Sarah here again!

Actually, Windows Task Mgr didn't cancel the update, I had to reset the PC
eventually!
