Windows XP >> how to get mpeg thumbnails back Just recently I installed quicktime, and it took over
windows media player 8's mpeg file association. When I
restored mpegs to play in wmp, I was no longer able to
see thumbnails of the mpegs using the thumbnail view in
windows explorer. Can anyone help me?

Windows XP538

Windows XP >> how to get mpeg thumbnails back Click inside the folder the movies are in and select Properties>Customize.
Select "Videos" in the available folder options. In the folder, rightclick
and select "thumbnails".
They should appear as thumbnail images. If not, try the other options, like
"Photos".

Sometimes though, a video may not appear as a thumbnail.

Hope that helps
