why this Box apeare ???

NAC	why this Box apeare ??? Windows XP1083 i have small home network betwen PC1(desktop computer) and PC2(laptop computer) . when brows network from laptop and clik PC1 icon apeare box display " connecting to pc1 give user name and password " while i don't make any password !!! -

You need to go and change the guest account on the computer you want to access. By default Windows disables the guest account. To enable the guest account go into the control panel and double click the users icon. Click on the adavnced tab. Click on the advanced button. Double click on ther Users folder on the right panel. Double click on guest. Uncheck, user is disabled. Then close out of everything. That should work for you.

Run the Network Setup Wizard on both computers to fully enable file

sharing. That's all that's usually needed.

If you've assigned a password to the Guest account on PC1, enter that

password at the prompt.
