Access Denied Error

Windows XP147
Help! I have 4 pc's all running Windows XP Pro SP2. 1 Desktop, 3 laptops,

all connect to the internet via router, the laptops use wireless and the

desktop is wired. Outbound connection is a cable connection. No problem

connecting to the internet, and all pc's can see each other in the network

neighborhood. Neither pc can connect to the Desktop, but the desktop can

connect to all laptops and the laptops can connect amongst themselves. I'm

trying to share files and a printer that is connected directly to the desktop

because it is always on, but I keep getting an "Access is denied" error

message. All computers have the same accounts and passwords on them. Also,

I can ping all the computers by name and IP except for the desktop. But the

desktop does not experience any problem getting online. Please help, I've

been working on this problem for a month with not avail.

Darius,

The "Access is denied" error can have many causes.

Please provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each computer, as a

start. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions

precisely:
