Title bar malfunction after "835732" upd?

Hi!

After applying the "835732" security update my title bar

and the "start bar"(The whole bar at the bottom) goes

black ?,why is this and what do i do to remedy it ?.

Lucky me i did a "ghost" backup on my C drive before the

update!.

I'm using XP pro sp1.
