Windows XP Support >> no active desktop message i recently had a problem with a virus in wich I had to edit my registry so I
could change my background(the values it added would not allow it). After I
Restarted windows I got the " no active desktop" message.I think I may have
removed more than I needed. Now there is a grey column covering the left side
of my screen that wont go away. Any way to fix this?
