Windows XP >> Have NET 2.0 - Remove NET 1.1? I installed NET 2.0 some time back, and noticed tonight in "Add/Remove"
that I still have 1.1 installed. I assume it's safe to remove that, but
I wanted to check first - ?

Thanks!

Tony

No, that's an incorrect assumption. All the .Net varieties are separate
from each other. The .Net framework is used in various applications and
you could have one program that uses .Net 1.1 and another that uses .Net
2.0 and they have nothing to do with each other. So just leave the .Net
1.1 installed or something you need (like printer software for ex.) may
stop working.
