Windows XP >> wminf.exe I am running Windows XP and after I log in my computer
tells me it can't find or load "wminf.exe".

What is it and/or how do I fix it?

Windows XP >> wminf.exe Hi Kevin,

Sounds like something is trying to load Windows Media Player. Start/run
msconfig, go to the startup tab and look for an entry that loads WMP *or* a
media file and disable it.

Both of you: Google Is Your Friend(tm). Using the search term
"wminf.exe" will quickly show you that you are infected with the
Trojan.Gema worm. Here's a link:

Why aren't you running a *current* antivirus program and keeping it
updated? Get one and do this!
