Windows XP MovieMaker >> Making a Movie I'm trying to make a movie for all our senior football players. I have
pictures from each game, dinners etc.

How do I get the segment of pics from certain games and functions of that
week to end together (audio & pics) without cutting the song off.
I want them to start and finish together (not cut it off and start a new
song & new week). Is this possible?
Do you understand what I'm trying to do?
THANKS!

Windows XP MovieMaker >> Making a Movie grab any of the still pix on the project's timeline and adjust it's duration
to shorten or lengthen the overall project time duration.... grab it at the
right 'trim handle' with your mouse and pull it to the right.

Windows XP MovieMaker >> Making a Movie Papajohn answered the question but can I suggest that if you are only
working with still images and audio then Photo Story 3 may be the better
program for the job. It will allow you better control over transitions and
timing so you can more easily time your pictures to the music background.

Windows XP MovieMaker >> Making a Movie to add to the advice already given, I would re-think the "force pictures to
fit music" mentality. While great music really adds to any project. the
goal of the project is to display the pictures you have. slight adjustment
to fit the music is alright, but making the photos painfully slow, or
lightning fast just to fit a particular song will detract from your desired
goal. you'll be alot happier with your end result if you cut and fade a
long song to fit the photos you have.
