Windows XP >> can't boot from floppy Trying to update my DVD firmware and need to run it in DOS. Running XP and created a boot disk. When I restart my computer, it doesn't boot from drive A. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks and Happy New Year

Windows XP >> can't boot from floppy You have to go into your bios and set the boot options so that the system
tries to boot first from the floppy drive.

Windows XP >> can't boot from floppy Thanks for the reply. How do I change the BIOS? Is it easy?

Windows XP >> can't boot from floppy It's easy, but can be disastrous if you change a critical setting to an
incorrect value. Be careful, is all! Look in your computer manual as there
are various ways to enter the bios. The one common denominator is that it is
always done during the earliest stage of the boot process. On my computer I
press the delete keys. Yours may well be different.
