Windows XP Network >> Unable to access networked computer
Please help.
I have a small network at my house with both wireless and
conventional LAN connections. When trying to set up the
network, I am continuing to have connectivity problems.
When I am on my desktop computer, when attempting to view
my workgroup I get the following error:
[Workgroup Name] is not accessible. You may not have
permission to use this network resource.
All of the other computers in the workgroup can see and
access each other, and they can see but NOT access the
desktop.
I have tried applying the remedies from Microsoft article
#318030 which concerns the error message I receive. This
does nothing.
I know that it is probably somethng really easy and
stupid. Like some sort of setting that I am missing, but
this drives me crazy.

I have the exact same problem this evening, and read the
same article that you did (It didn't work either).
Perhaps someone can solve our problem
