>Yes,I am also having this trouble. I even went as far as
buying a whole new computer. When I did this, I went
about 3 months without this error. Then all of a sudden,
it popped up again. I noticed that the 3-com EtherLink XL
10/100 pci tx nic (3c905B-TX) thats installed in my
computer was known for having trouble with windows XP
Pro, that I have. Microsoft suggested I upgrade to the
(3c905C-TXM). So this is what I'm going to get and
install. Hope this works for me. Maybe you could look
into a new card? Lorraine

Windows XP Network >> network cable unplugged are you sure that you are using a proper Cross over cable? if you put a
normal patch cable between to PCs you wouldn't get a connection.
