Windows XP Setup >> Want to know? No you don't. You change the key before you activate. You have up to
30 days to activate.

Windows XP Setup >> Want to know?
Thank you for your input to my question. Instead of installing and leaving a
copy of my own operating system on my friends drive. Once I was able to
install my copy of operating system then I just formated the drive and give
drive back to the owner. He said he was able to set the drive up with his
operating system now? So all ends well. Thank you for your help and answers
to my questions!
