As an educational establishment, we have 2 main AD domains, a staff and a student. Currently we have a staff portal based on Sharepoint 2003 and are currently investigating Sharepoint 2007 for the student portal.
After reading about Share Service Providers, it occured to me that we could logically create 2 SSP's, one for staff and one for students, link these to either portal and then have a portal above them to aggregate this.
Is this a practical solution or would it be better to keep them as seperate entities
