WSS 3.0: How do I add "check in comments" to user alert e-mails?

One great feature in WSS is checking in and out of files, and being notified when that happens. When a user alert is set up to notify someone about a check-in, the e-mail has all the right information except what the check-in comment was :)

Any ideas how to add that to user alerts from a document library
