Windows XP >> trouble downloading windows xp patches and updates I can not download windows xp patches and updates I get a
error window that says Could not verify the integrity of
the file Upate. Make sure cryptographic service is
running on this computer. I checked my computer and it is
running. Help whats wrong. Thanks

Windows XP >> trouble downloading windows xp patches and updates Look in C;/ Windows for the system32 folder/catroot2 (I
remember the catroot2, the path may be slightly in error.
Delete or rename catroot2 and do your update. A new
catroot2 will be created automatically.

25.00 they downloaded the SP1 patch for me . To avoid a
headache I suggest you do the same; let the computer
