Windows XP Update >> 0x80070020 This is the error I'm getting when I'm trying to update the Windows. I got
60% when I started downloading and then got error 0x80070020.
I'm wandering if the other four people, who got this similar problem with
mine and posted the question about this error before me, did solve the puzzle
and were able to update their Windows...???.
Please help!
Gabriella

Windows XP Update >> 0x80070020 Harish,

I found the error is not affected by turning off virus/port scanning.

v5 windows update just stops its attempt to verify updates required and
displays :

Windows XP Update >> 0x80070020 By the way forgot to mention this is post SP2 install. Everything was fine
with v5 before whilst using the same set-up and Anti-Virus.
