Windows XP >> Minimizing Open Applications to Taskbar For a while I have not been able to minimize an application to the taskbar
for re-expanding later.

When I minimze an application it disappears completely from the screen and
does not appear on the taskbar. If I click on the application icon a new
window with a newly loaded application appears.

I am guessing I may have "reset" a setting accidentally somewhere along the
way, but can't figure out what it is.

Any ideas? Thanks.

You might want to download and apply the following edit:
