customize >> My Documents How can I stop XP from automatically creating a My Music
Folder, My Pictures Folder And other Folders in My
Documents? Every time I delete them they come back.

customize >> My Documents Hi Rob
These are system folders, why would you want to delete them? If they are
empty they aren't using any resources. These folders have special attributes
to handle photos, music, etc..

customize >> My Documents I should have mentioned that if you don't want them seen you can hide them.
Right click the folder in question/ click properties/ put a check by the
hidden option/ click apply/ click ok.

customize >> My Documents Rob,

Certain actions will cause these folders to be automatically recreated. For
instance if you launch Media Player and want to rip a disc into wma format
Media Player will assume you want to create these files in you My Music
folder so we check to see if it is there. If it isn't then create it. Or
if you open up Display Properties and switch to the Desktop tab sheet we see
if you have any pictures in your My Pictures folder that you want to make as
your desktop background. I don't believe there is a way to prevent the OS
or certain applications from recreating these folders.

tool change the location where it will save the files, If that was the
problem, there ios the solution...
