Windows XP Network >> ie running xp and ie 6 sp2
anyway i was in ie doing some surfing wanted to open
another window - got error msg "IE has encountered a
problem and needs to close. sorry for any inconvenience"
and get this error everytime i try. i found a way to open
an IE window and that is by goint thru start menu, clicking
on control panel and clicking windows update in the left
nav. i dont actually do the update - instead I click home
after the window opens and surf away. but if i click on ie
thru the start menu or click on the shortcut - i get the
error. what happened?
my norton is current, i ran stinger and did sys scan to be
sure not mydoom. windows update is current (set to
automatic) . I'm out of ideas. Any ideas would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
DB
